quote 5

Stephanie Clarke-Beedle

Wow factor:

Interior designer, planner, and Photoshop Diva. She started her career in Starbucks International Store Design department – creating award winning stores in Latin America with an accent on re–branding environments. Now she speaks 5ive fluently – and we couldn’t be happier.

What you’d learn while sharing a Ragin’ Cajun sandwich with her:

She spent most of her life in Alaska and has eaten elk, moose, deer, and darn near every wild critter except whale blubber. But no beef. Go figure. Here’s something else you might learn – don’t poach her Cajun…it’s an addiction disguised as lunch.

Favorite relaxation:

She never relaxes, she’s a born entrepreneur – and in her spare time she creates and sells her own line of letterpress cards, invitations, and custom designs. Handcrafted design using heavy machinery!

Favorite store:

Any place that sells shoes. Lots of shoes.

Coolest thing I’ve seen in the last 3 months:

The new Anchorage Museum – it has an incredible 3 story cast iron cantilevered staircase…the space is both cool and green, like Alaska.

Kristi Kremer

Wow factor:

May know more about shoes than Imelda Marcos. She has worked for Nike, Adidas and the Acme Boot Company. Showcases a gift for visual merchandising but has yet to make a display of herself - college years don’t count.

After joining her for a yoga class you’d learn:

How to wear sandals all year round....she’s not a big fan of socks. Has never lived in Alaska.

Favorite store:

Tim’s Grocery in Renton. Not really a browser though, shops with an Excel list typed up in order by aisle so as to be as efficient with her time as possible. (I know, we didn’t believe it either).

Favorite sounds:

It’s a tie. The laughter of her little girls or first 10 minutes of quiet after the kids are asleep.

Coolest thing I’ve seen in the last 3 months:

A Hoola Hoop made just for adults, use it and its supposed to flatten your stomach! Who says kids get all the fun?

quote 8

Cocoa (Full name: Hot Cocoa with Marshmallows)

Wow factor:

He sleeps around. He has a cushy dog bed at home, two dog beds at the office, and even more snooze spots at several vacation locations as well.

Nemesis:

The neighboring dog in our office building – Othello. A whole lot of trash talking is going on between those two.

Favorite food:

Baby horseshoe crabs from the beach buffet line (aka high tide) Loves a dollop of yogurt in his kibble too – it seems to counteract his attraction to seafood.

Favorite store:

Puppy Love by the Sea in Cannon Beach Oregon.

Coolest thing he’s seen in the last 3 months:

His new collar – imagine basic black with a whole spectrum of Pantone colored dots. Oh yeah, totally designer dog.
